One of the oldest hockey clubs in Wales, with a proud history going back to 1897.
All training sessions take place at the hockey pitch at Crickhowell High School, with senior matches currently being held in Chepstow while Abergavenny Leisure Centre undergoes redevelopment. Frequently asked questions
When and where do you play?
Training and home matches take place at the hockey pitch at Crickhowell High School. New Rd, Crickhowell NP8 1AW.
Away matches vary considerably but are usually between 30 to 90 minutes’ drive away. Lift sharing is encouraged.

What kit do i need?
You will need a hockey stick! If you’re coming to training for the first time and don’t have one, let us know and you can borrow one for the training.
We also strongly recommend shin pads, astro hockey shoes, and a gum shield for playing matches. Some players also wear gloves.
How much is membership & what do i get?
If you decide you want to be a part of the club and play matches for us, there are several membership options available, including bulk payment, monthly payments and pay-per-match. Speak to your captain or the treasurer for more information.
Membership (except pay-per-match) usually covers all matches and training, affiliation to Hockey Wales, and the End of Season Dinner.
How can i sponsor the club?

Do you have any volunteer positions in the club?
